Sr. Front End Web Developer

Provides technical expertise in developing, building, and deploying emails for CDS Global clients. Works hand in hand with clients to come up with digital strategies for promotional campaigns as well as optimizing transactional messages. This position will also provide guidance and training toward other Web Developers on the complexities of digital marketing specifically around email sends. Provide estimates for building creative, testing, and deploying digital messages specifically in the email space. Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud a major plus. Experience in another marketing cloud application also a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides technical assistance, guidance and training to clients on the CDS Global Engage product and Email application while promoting a positive working relationship between CDS Global and client.
  • Builds, tests, and deploys client digital campaigns in compliance with CDS Global business practices and client specifications.
  • Performs quality control testing on digital campaigns made by CDS Global Front End Web Developers.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to Digital Services Help Desk Specialist to improve understanding of the Engage product and digital marketing.
  • Provides mentoring, guidance and training to Front End Web Developers on the complexities of the Engage product, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, digital marketing, etc.
  • Performs business user acceptance testing for the Engage product enhancements.
  • Ensures that client requirements and expectations are met.
  • Regularly reviews client requests with manager and provides status reports.
  • Communicates and coordinates with CDS Global staff on projects and client requests requiring multiple processing systems and/or impacting multiple CDS Global departments.
  • Acts as liaison between Front End Web Developers, client and CDS Global departments for defining program enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Interacts in professional and cooperative manner with all CDS Global employees, clients and/or vendors in team-oriented environment.
  • Maintains accurate records on internal and/or external customer account activity, e.g., complete timekeeping of customer activities.
  • Provides status reports to Manager and/or clients when required or requested.
  • Organizes and manages client tasks and/or projects to complete work and meet deadlines in changing technical environment according to established departmental procedures.
  • Continually learns and adapts new information in a changing technical environment.
  • On-call when required or requested.
  • Follows all CDS ergonomic and safety policies.
  • Travel on an occasional basis when requested by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or four-year related degree, or equivalent job related experience.
  • Two or more years of experience as a Web Developer.
  • HTML Certification or equivalent technical experience and knowledge.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, and CSS.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Marketing Cloud tool(s).
  • One or more years of experience using Marketing Cloud tool(s).
  • Experience working in changing technical environment.
  • Excellent PC Knowledge/Skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed and capable of working independently.
  • Experience making decisions on variety of tasks frequently requiring discretion, judgment and initiative.
  • Experience performing advanced mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to identify and resolve situations, determining most effective and/or efficient actions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, mentor and provide guidance to employees.
  • Ability to create a working environment conducive to effective team activities.
